Little Free Library (LFL) Local Advocate
This volunteer role exemplifies the heart and soul of Little Free Library – if you have a passion for the Little Free Library concept and are willing to help support the LFL stewards in your community.
The purpose of this job is to help keep the Little Free Libraries near you in good health—they are full of good books and they have lots of people using them. You are their link to ways that Stewards and users can make their Libraries even better. You’ll be our eyes and ears “on the street,” ensuring we uphold the great reputation we’re trying to build for Little Free Libraries.For more details about this role, check out the Little Free Library Local Advocate position description.
Little Free Library Ambassador
Little Free Library Ambassadors have an important role - to promote the Little Free Library movement and help to grow the LFL network. We are seeking advocates with the passion and creativity to identify partnership opportunities and encourage others to actively participate in the LFL network. Ambassadors will help us create a strategy in building meaningful offline excitement surrounding our movement worldwide.
LFL Ambassadors will be our official local contacts and be the “face” of Little Free Library at a local or regional level. There will be an application and training process required, as well as a minimum time/length for commitment. See LFL Ambassador position description for more information.
Little Free Library Ambassador Program Coordinator
The LFL Ambassador Program Coordinator is a key leadership volunteer position for Little Free Library. Little Free Library Ambassadors have an important role - to promote the Little Free Library movement and help to grow the LFL network. We are seeking an inspirational, committed and motivated volunteer leader to help us shape this important role and be the primary contact with an energetic corps of LFL ambassadors. This volunteer leader will be instrumental in helping us create a strategy for meaningful and productive offline excitement surrounding our movement worldwide.

Social Media/Marketing Volunteer
The Social Media/Marketing volunteer will work closely with Rick Brooks, Co-Executive Director, to develop and implement PR strategies for Little Free Library via social networking websites. You will be responsible for creating a professional and interesting content to keep our followers engaged and to help increase awareness about our organization. LFL Steward Engagement Coordinator
The primary role of the LFL Steward Engagement Coordinator is to provide contact, encouragement and support for the growing cadre of committed folks who care for a Little Free Library. The Steward Engagement Coordinator will develop a system of ongoing communications with stewards, work with senior LFL leadership team to develop special incentives and rewards for active stewards, and help problem-solve issues that may be a barrier to a satisfying stewardship experience.
We know from experience that the most successful Little Free libraries have stewards who have actively engaged their neighbors and communities in nurturing and developing their LFL. Satisfied, engaged stewards are our best marketing tool! Having a dedicated person focused on making their experience a great one is an important asset to the LFL mission.
